Rocester Rest close to Alton Towers & JCB, Netflix

Great location for visiting Alton Towers, took less than 15 minutes to drive there! Located in a nice village with a good value cafe & fish & chip shop & local shop only a 1 minute walk away. Hosts were very informative prior to our arrival. The property was clean and well equipped. Was perfect for our visit. Thank you

Very comfortable beds. Nice and cosy. Well equipped kitchen. Good WiFi and nice big TV. Huge bath.

A bit warm on a night as the bedroom window couldnt open, however we were offered fans to be dropped in. The sofa is very low. The stairs could do with a rail. They're very steep and a tad scary with young children.

loved the whole house. beds very comfortable. great location. shop a few yards from the house. great chipper & Indian nearby. hosts very helpful. really enjoyed our stay.

It was in the perfect location for what we needed and was lovely and clean couldn’t fault that at all, the owners were attentive and made getting into the property a breeze, also love the feature of being able to set the temp of the property, was lovely and warm when we arrived. Tea coffee and biscuits in the property on arrival were a nice touch after a long drive

The pillows on the bed were super thin and took us a minute to work out where any extra bedding was, we did eventually find extra pillows so used those but those were thin too so wasn’t the soundest sleep, having a comfy pillow can make the world of difference to your sleep, property just needs a little tlc with the toilet roll holder falling off the wall etc, just some constructive criticism but it had everything we needed for our short stay and we wouldn’t let any of this stop us staying again. Thank you!

The location for Alton towers was great! Shops nearby or bigger shops 10 mins drive away. Great homely house for what you need when going to Alton Towers. Plus the people that own the property were very helpful and always answered quickly. Would definitely recommend this house for a stay if you're going to Alton Towers. It took me just over 10 mins to drive to Alton Towers. Plus a nice big bath which was so nice for me as we don't have a decent size bath at mine and only fit little children in so that was great if you enjoy a nice soak in a bathtub!

Parking. And a very entitled neighbour. I have mobility issues so not so great if I couldn't park nearby. But I waited 10/15 mins for a delivery driver to move and the next door neighbour turned up as I was finally reversing into the space and moaning at me though the parking is for anyone! I refused to move and said sorry I waited a while and then she parked so close to my car on the double yellow meaning when I needed to rush out to pick the others up from Alton Towers it took me a while to get out. So parking was an issue but the house was lovely and very homely.

It was a great location for Alton towers. Shop right next door but very expensive. Nice quiet village even being on the road.

It's for couples and older children. Not for younger children because of the stairs. Back area was messy and unsuitable to sit outside. Apart from the experience shop next door quite a distance to a supermarket so bring what you need. Bathroom the tiles were all cracked and grout missing plus toilet roll holder hanging off.

Proximity to Alton Towers, tea,coffee sugar provided, biscuits and milk in fridge were a nice addition too
