The Hand Hotel Bed & Breakfast

Rooms were small but inclusive of all necessities and free WiFi. Very clean and a good breakfast. While you are in FairPlay be sure to visit the museum. One of the best for the realities of early US life in the 19th century.

Awesome restoration of old hotel, very tastefully done, creative use of spaces, a great sunroom and back deck overlooking river Anazing breakfast znd delightful owner and staff. Dog friendly!

Loved it! So affordable, fantastic views, spotted a moose, walked the streets with a coffee in hand taking in the glory of the old west, parking was a breeze, fantastic thrift store shopping, a nearby hike along beaver creek that IS appropriately named (you’ll spot a beaver), don’t bother eating at Otto’s (over priced, music’s too loud), will say the coffee could be stronger at the Hand BUT the rest of breakfast was tasty and well attended to. The charm of the building alone takes you back to grandma’s house. But seriously, The Hand Bed and Breakfast was magical. Book it if you can.

Great older hotel lots of character, comfy bed. Greeted by the house dog that just celebrated her 8th birthday. Simple but good breakfast choices.

Wonderful, quaint restored hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and rooms were cozy and comfortable. The dining area and sunroom were a pleasant place to eat a get breakfast.

The Hand Hotel is a gem! Incredibly people and pet friendly. Every single staff member was kind, personable, and helpful (seriously, like old school Colorado people). The hotel was clean, quaint, inviting, quiet, and fun. Great set up, great reading nooks, great fireplace. We loved everything about our stay!

My one reason for not giving my stay a five star is that the breakfast (for a bed and breakfast) was not up to what I expected.
