Forestry Cottage. Hot tub, open fire, dog friendly

This property is a home from home, with everything you need to cook meals and relax with friends or family. The hot tub was on and ready for us on arrival, the host responds to questions quickly. Lovely setting. Lots of nice touches, like items for the dog, board games, wireless speaker, bbq, hot tub towels, sun loungers, information book, dishwasher tablets and cleaning items, plenty of crockery and more which is great. Lots of space for a group of people. We would return.

Option to have a later check out but understand it is a large property to be made ready for the next guests.

Our stay was fantastic from booking and leaving with our Hosts. Lovely communication. I arrived to a birthday cake, card and balloons from out host as our booking was for a celebration. The cottage was so clean. The bedrooms immaculate and the mattresses were so comfy. The hot tub was so clean and the fireplace with logs ready to use was perfect. A homely stay.

There was nothing we didn't like other than having to come home. 🙃

Setting was beautiful. The garden was perfect for our dog. Lots of room to run around but very secure. The lounge area was a great size.

Electric showers. But that's just a bug bear of mine. I like a powerful shower, and I feel that electric ones just dont do that. I understand that it's not always possible to install that type.

Perfect setting, very comfortable accommodation and well equipped, walks from the cottage perfect. Lovely stay.

Great hot tub and plenty of living space.

No wood supplied for open fire. Main road can be noisy in the day and early evening.

The property was spacious, it was set in a nice surrounding, with the hot tub which we enjoyed. We visited Sandringham for the day, it was very near the property, hence why we chosen this accommodation. We went to the Rose and Crown pub in the evening to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday, its in a nice village of Snettisham. We were very lucky with the weather, we sat out in the garden with drinks.

There were few a issues which we have raised with the owner. The accommodation smelt of mushy damp, had cobwebs which we had hoovered to get rid of the spiders in the bedrooms. There was a wasp nest outside the window of the bathroom, we managed to kill a few of them. The property was not easy to find. In all, we were rather disappointed with the outcome of our stay due to the problems mentioned and payment made for it, and we have fed all this back to the owner via customer services.

The cottage and area were great. The cottage was clean, and we had everything you could possibly need in it. It was comfortable, roomy. The beds were comfy, towels matched the colour of the bedroom. Nice touch. The hot tub was clean. We all liked everything. It was a great place for us girls to celebrate us all being 60 this year. We will definitely book this cottage again
