Elma's Houses - Balcony Studio

Balcony studio is located at the end of Old Alonissos village. It enjoyes an amazing view towards the sea and Skopelos and it is incredibly quiet, yet you need to walk just 5-10 minutes walk through the village to reach all the restaurants and bars, the minimarket and bakery, the bus station and the car park. The balcony is truly amazing, with space enough to eat and to relax on deckchairs. Through ventilation keeps the heat down in the studio even without using a lot of aircon. Elma and Dimitri have been very kind and helpful, giving us some really precious advice.

The short walk to reach the studio involves some steps up and down along the stone paved lanes. For some people carrying the luggage at the start and end of their stay could be a bit strenuous, but apparently a donkey trasnsport service is available.

Everything. I wish I could give it a higher score than a 10. I'd like to come back and stay for much longer. The house had everything we wanted or needed. We cooked meals in the kitchen and ate them on the large balcony overlooking the sea. Or on the other side, in the lovely shaded courtyard. It's at the end of the village, very quiet, right near the path to the beach. The bed is comfortable and we loved sleeping under the vaulted ceilings. It was the kind of place where despite all the beauty of Alonisos we were tempted to stay home all day and enjoy the space. Elma and her son Dimitris are incredibly welcoming, accommodating and generous. A great find - grab it if it's available.
