No poder entrar antes de las 15:00 pero que en cambio en el dia de la salida (que era a las 11:00) ya nos picaran a la puerta a las 10:45 para limpiar!

The property was in a great area with good transport links.

The property managers ask you to contact solely through WhatsApp which they don't monitor. This created a problem when the code we were sent for the door didn't work. We were left sitting in the street with all of our luggage for 2 hours before anyone came to resolve the issues. Not good enough when your 71 year old mother and disabled brother are in the party of guests. We also raised a number of issues with the condition of the property, we were told these would be resolved and that's the last time we heard from the property managers. Customer care is nonexistent, and the fact that they have not even responded to Booking.com says it all. Happy to take your money but not happy to provide you with a decent service. The apartment was not as clean as we would have expected, there were items left by the previous occupants, and I had to clean the kitchen before we could use it. They also provide you with only 1 towel per person and there's nowhere to dry it. Not every room has storage for your clothes, the beds are solid with only 1 hard pillow provided. The bedding was stained, the towels were stained, there are cracked tiles, stains and splashes all over the walls/doors. I'm not sure this apartment was cleaned at all by the property managers before we entered. We love Madrid, and will visit again, but there are many many better properties, with owners/managers who treat their customers with respect.

Location is great and apartment has a modern aesthetic.

We were unable to open the door because of the apartment code: they forgot to tell us that the code has a # at the end of it and they were unable to tell us this even when messaging them. We discovered it by chance. Also, the video in the tutorial they send in the link is outdated and corresponds to an older door they must have had. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR VIDEO! And lastly, but most importantly, the apartment was quite dirty! The cleanliness is appalling for this type of apartment, location and price! It's not cheap enough to turn a blind eye. PLEASE INVEST IN CLEANERS, NOT A QUICK BRUSH. NEEDS A DEEP CLEAN.
