Super 'Cosy' Small Basic Cabin in The Middle of National Park and Mountains but near Road and Railway

A good experience in the wild. Even it's a small unit, it kept the heat intact. The unit is quite well equipped. (Anything like this is better than camping in the cold)

The bed was a bit too soft. I guess the price in the national park is on the high side!

Beautiful location in a majestic mountain valley. Cute little hut along with a few other huts at this location. Felt very private and secluded though! The pot belly fire was great - hubby enjoyed making the fire and it kept the hut very warm. Kitchen facilities were basic but definitely did the job! Air fryer a bonus. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of warm blankets etc along with electric blankets. Although it is a remote location, the directions from Gary were very thorough and we found the place no problem. Lots of wonderful walks in the area.

Sweet location near Arthur Pass hikes. Throughly enjoyed the solitude, wooden stove and hanging out on and outside the cabin.

It was as described, a bit better even. No surprises.

Quite a good experience. Rather well equipped albeit a little ‘oldish’ but sufficient and cosy. Noisy level is acceptable and location is good.

Problem with water this evening, the owner warned us. No shower head. Unconfortable matresses.

A lovely cosy cabin in a beautiful location, exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Arthur’s Pass.
