USthe apartment is in a great location with a nice little restaurant just below for breakfast or even dinner for those days where you are too tired from sightseeing and exploring to venture out further. The balcony is small but it was still very enjoyable for the 3 of us to enjoy sitting out there for a few cocktails and and snacks. Really beautiful views of the ocean and overlooking Rio Maggiore - overall great location.
It was a bit confusing to find the property upon arrival at Rio Maggiore train station. Be prepared to drag luggage up long hill no matter which route you take. We ended up going through the walking tunnel first (turn hard right when you exit train station) then proceeding up that hill and doing a left u-turn at top of hill, (proceed through narrow walkway with doorways) and then past the church on right and apartment is just beyond on the right (just after small restaurant). There is also a fancier restaurant for dinner a couple of doors down. A few minor adds in the apartment suggested would be: more wine glasses (i.e. we had 3 adults and 2 wine glasses) and clothespins for the clothesline. Twin beds in 2nd BR are probably best for kids given each are rather small with no box spring base - not terribly comfortable - but with walking all day and a couple of cocktails, we made them work for 2 adult females. But overall a nice place.

Deficient check-in instructions and lack of number on doors. No signage. Horrible bedding, sub-par to 3-star accommodation. Abrupt staircase. Uncomfortable sofa. Nearly no pressure in shower, cheap shower head. Toilet bowl seat screwed loose.
AUThe view and location were terrific. Communication was clear and access was easy.
No amenities like soap in the shower. No aircon which meant it was very warm overnight.

Minor issues but for international travellers who like ice in their drinks would be good if there were a couple of ice trays in freezer. Had to hunt for wifi password, it's on the back of modem as did not get a reply from owner.

I wish there had been an iron and ironing board and a broom but was happy to have a hair dryer.
USThe couch in the living room area was not comfortable as you could feel the metal springs underneath. The only other seating in the room was a kitchen type chair/ hard metal chair. So, overall not conducive to hanging out in the space, watching tv, etc.
