Heart of Waipu - Waipu Holiday Home

The view from the accommodation is stunning, even more beautiful than in the photos. I loved taking a bath outdoors, gazing at the sheep, the valley and the sunset; it was a moment of pure serenity.

Access to the bathroom and toilet isn’t very convenient, especially when you get up in the night. That said, it didn’t really bother us; in fact, it’s quite unique.

Has everything you could possibly need and so much more. Kitchen is fully equipped so cooking meals at home is really easy. Such a beautiful location just 10mins from beach. Hosts are lovely too! And so generous and kind of them to allow dogs. The place is also really warm in the crisp mornings too so you don't even need heat pumps on. Hopefully we can stay again sometime soon!

A place to hang towels could be handy

Loved the view, the house was warm and comfortable. The outside space was perfect for the dogs with lots of cover from the weather. The kitchen was well equipped and was a peaceful relaxing place to stay.

This bach was so comfortable and clean with a great view and everything you'd need. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor bath was a bonus!

The location, on the hills overlooking Waipu, offering beautiful 360 degrees, sheep and cows over the land, was very special and the highlight of the stay. Spectacular clear views of the stars at night. The property was clean and fun. It was a bit hotch-potch, but this added to the character. It is more for a couple than that two singles like us. Only complaint was the second bed, which was a fold out lounge that has seen better days. Very uncomfortable. No way a couple could sleep in it.
