Great location, very well kept. Little surprises added value to our stay: fresh fruits, local pastry for each guest. And the house is full of beautiful and significant objects that honour the same family that lived there for many generations. The host had great suggestions to make our stay worthwhile.

Excelente localização, mesmo no centro da cidade. A anfitriã é super atenciosa. No que toca à limpeza, nota-se que existe bastante cuidado.

Sónia is an impeccable host. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was constantly around the accommodation greeting guests and prepping things. She was also very concerned about my allergies and checked in on how I was doing every time we saw each other, which is exactly the kind of kind touch that makes Sónia’s place stand out. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with everything you might need. The whole accommodation was extremely clean and tidy, which we appreciated. Sónia also cleaned our room, changed the sheets, and got us a thinner duvet half way through our stay. There is also a washing machine and detergent available if you need to do laundry. Overall, a very warm host and well-equipped stay that we would certainly recommend! Also, make sure to visit the bakery downstairs in the morning (or late at night as they’re open from 23:00 to 5:00am too!); it’s a local place and really yummy.

The bathroom was a little cramped and we think maybe a few additional shelves on the wall would help with that. Also good to note that there is a bar across the street that can stay pretty rowdy until the early hours of the morning. For me, that wasn’t a big deal as I slept with earplugs, but my partner didn’t have any, so he was kept up during one of the nights of our stay. Just make sure you bring earplugs and you’ll be fine!
