Seal Bay, West Sands

On arrival we had to ask for codes to get into the caravan, when we got there the caravan had not been cleaned. The beds were unmade, there were dirty dishes left out, the table tops needed a wipe down, bags of dirty rubbish had been left on one of the hottest weekends! Called the owner who was not aware as seemingly they use a 3rd party to do the cleaning. The stories didn’t add up, we were told it gets cleaned between 12 & 3pm, entry to property is 12. Then it was another emergency. We were advised of compensation then owner advised we received a good price for the property so wouldn’t be getting anything! Note there are NO TOWELS not clear from the website, we got told to go buy some cheap ones!!!!!!! Overall it was in a disgusting state with the owner backtracking on promises!

Location was very convenient

Large pothole on leaving the site on your private road damaged my tyre beyond repair. I have emailed your office about this but received zero response. West Sussex County Council have informed me that this is a private road. Unless I hear from you I will be instigating a civil claim as I had renewed all four tyres three days previously.

The property was comfortable and perfect for a weekend away; being in 3 meant we had enough space to move around, would still be good for 4. Right by the beach at 5 min walk and very closed to West Wittering for a day trip. Good value for money!

I didn’t realise it was a private owner van. Thought I was booking a sea view for 129 pounds per night.

Sheets on bed had not been changed. We slept on single bed quilts. No towels provided. Cleaner was supposed to come back but didn’t. Wifi was supposed to be included but owner dud not have it. She said it was public but seems owners have to pay..TV only had BBC at start..all other channels pixelated. Then we lost BBC and others came and went.sea view as per photos on advert? 10 min walk away through 1400 mobile homes. Had to pay another 15 pounds to use pool and facilities. Did not know this until a few days before. Carpets and sodas need shampooing. Lots of stains on both Mia owner was helpful at start but then stopped communicating. She lives in London so couldnt do anything from there but phone cleaner who didnt respond. I found a spar sheet to dry myself after shower

Location superb. Great facilities for people of all ages.

Need a good coffee cafe Also one of our party had their handbag stolen. It was not easy to report and felt more could have been done.

It was a very last minute break Mia's contact was great, Mia couldn't of done enough to accommodate us at such last minute, it felt like home there was the basics tea, sugar, toilet roll ect to make it less stressful when we arrived, the location was excellent the site has so much for young families we will definitely be back, caravan very comfy, clean & cosy The perfect break we all needed. Rusted microwave (H&S hazard) multiple things covered in pet hair. Couldn’t buy entertainment passes and when paying £170 a night it should be a minimal requirement. Lacking multiple useful items such as Sieve and small sharp knife. Old food left in fridge along with crusted milk like flaking on both shelves. Shower pressure very poor. Overall static is very basic and needs an all over refresh for the prices being charged. Litter and cigarette ends surrounding entire static. Being an air bnb owner myself it most certainly didn’t meet minimal requirements. At the least, washing up liquid, hand soap and towels should have been provided for the extreme pricing.
