Makhato Bush Lodge 6

We’ve stayed at this house before and had a great experience, which is why I booked it again for our girls’ weekend — mainly for the heated indoor splash jacuzzi pool and the pool table. Unfortunately, this time was a huge letdown. The jacuzzi was out of service and completely empty, and there were no pool cues to use the pool table. Very disappointed, especially since these were the main reasons we booked it. Won’t be returning.

Very spacious and comfortable. I really liked the boma and the braai area.

You had a pool table and table tennis advertised but you had all the equipment kept away. The teenager's was really disappointed. You also have too many private doors locked. As owners you should keep your personal items at your home and not at the resort.

Sondela Nature reserve gave free pancakes on arrival - great touch and kids loved it. Swimming pools are kept clean and loads of activities to do for kids which is managed by the property.

The unit was not set up for our arrival, there are no cushions for the metal chairs outside. the upstairs lounge area was not set up, and filled the lounge area so no one could use the room, this area was very dirty compared to rest of the house. The floors and house were dusty and dirty, gecko poo on all the beds, left over noodles around the dinning area, a few light bulbs not working inside and outside. broken glass around the fire and around the unit so one of our guests cut their foot. The unit is not well maintained unfortunately. The overall experience was not welcoming. In future we will book unit directly through Sondela to ensure its managed accordingly.
