2BR Townhome - Sleeps 5 - Near GA Horse Park

We loved the space and the design. It was very pretty and clean.

Our WiFi didn’t work and the upstairs neighbors were excessively loud after 10pm. (Running, stomping and banging furniture).

Easy and prompt communication with the host. Immediate response to any questions I had. Clean and spacious property.

Whoever was above me was always loud and stomping and had late night fights and arguments after quiet hours.

This was listed as a 2-BR,2BA furnished apartment in a townhouse complex. The main thing that made the property tolerable was that the water was always hot & plentiful. Heating & AC worked well. Lighting in the bathrooms was great, especially in the guest bathroom across from the queen size bedroom. Towels were bright white & seemed to be new. The refrigerator/freezer appeared to be new & were super clean. We didn't cook so can't comment on stove/oven cleanliness or working order but clocks had stopped on both & after several attempts, we reset. Location was decent - close to several malls, national restaurant chains, movie theaters, shops/grocery stores and a 30-minute drive to Atlanta, 40 minutes to the airport.

We received very basic instructions regarding the address, the code on the door to enter/leave, and how to dispose of garbage. We were never informed that this was a basement apartment, which we would never have taken, particularly once we located the front door (down several brick steps & not easily seen from the parking lot) and entered a cold, dark, damp, dank room where we had to search for light switches. After settling in, it definitely felt like "our" apartment had not been used for some time Dead bugs on dirty window sills, dirty baseboards throughout, dust on lamps, some of which didn't work... the couch in the living room that was billed as a sleeper couch was old, stained & worn with broken springs. Mattresses were thin but OK but bed linens were old & a little worn - no comforters available when the weather turned chilly. No sanitary pillow protectors on mismatched pillows Closet hangers were clearly left from previous guests' dry cleaning. NO pant hangers in either closet. The ironing board cover was extremely dirty & stained. Nothing in the refrigerator - a couple of bottles of water would have been a nice welcoming touch. Floor of bathtubs/shower units is very dangerous, very slippery. Shower floor decals should be applied. We could hear noise, footsteps, moving furniture & voices in unit above us during day/night. There was a list of "house" rules, but no instructions for use of TV in living room (which we figured out) or in the master bedroom, which didn't work. No seating in master bedroom except for an oddly placed single chair in the far corner. Finally, several lamps were broken/didn't work, the washing machine/dryer were very dirty (I took a picture of the lint buildup in the dryer) and also of the kitchen trash can's broken footstep opener. Overall, we felt this was a unit used during the summer months that had not yet been opened for the season.
