Good space & kitchen facilities.

Construction / renovation view next door is bad.

We were excited about this accommodation as the reviews had mentioned waking up and being able to view the lake from the lounge window. Unfortunately, that is a real stretch now with the new buildings going up around the hut. We still enjoyed our stay and there were lots of lovely little extras that we appreciated. Including being able to catch up our laundry and cook a yummy home made meal.

We expected lake views based on the reviews but understood the reviews were probably old and with all the new buildings the views of the lake were not what we expected.

Het is een heerlijke tiny house: heel proper, zachte lakens met warme dekens, fijne badkamer met wasmachine en keuken met alle voorzieningen.

We misten eventueel een klaptafeltje en 2 klapstoeltjes zodat je niet op een plateau op je schoot in de zetel moet eten. En ook op terras hadden we graag een zeteltje gehad om in de namiddag wat van de herfstzon te kunnen genieten.

Not much. Place was clean but very basic and soulless.

It was very unwelcoming. No welcome note like all our other stays on the South Island this last 2 weeks. . Notices everywhere about fines for doing things wrong. Told we MUST take all rubbish with us but no outside bins to deposit anything in. No iron. Only 2 plates 2 cups 2 glasses. We had to constantly wash up during the one meal we cooked A really bad vibe and just seemed mean. Also told we needed to take photos of all damage as soon as we arrived otherwise we'd be charged for repairs. There was water damage to kitchen doors and the lounge was old, stained and ripped.
