Super emplacement dans la vieille ville. Petit déjeuner fabuleux, tout était parfait!

Leider wurde dieses wunderbare Hotel von den Erben des verstorbenen Besitzers verkauft, so dass die Zukunft (ab Ende 2025) unsicher ist. Schade.

Great location, wonderful friendly staff. Cool old monastery. Inexpensive.

Poor lighting and dated bathroom.

The old town of Giovinazzo is surely a gem in terms of its beauty, history and fact that it is not on the mass tourism schedule. We visited late in the season so it might be different in height of cummer but at the end of September, walking around day or evening was simply magical. The hotel is I understand for sale and will close soon which is sad. I hope it reopens. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The whole place was cleaned every day, floors washed everything. The rooftop bar area (closed for our trip) provides a superb viewpoint and on sunny mornings, is amazing!! We fell in love with Giovinazzo and Hotel S. Martins and will hold it long in our memories because of the place and the people.

The breakfast is quite good but monotonous and lacking a bit of imagination (if you are staying, like we for a few days) but the coffee is great. The courtyard is a magical area but as the hotel is slowly winding down and it was past the season, it was not really used. We had the apartment which was fine in terms of size but looks inwards. Right outside the window is an old church bell that still rings each evening at around 21.50 and if your window is open and you are settling down, its quite a shock but is actually one of the charms!!
