Beautiful hotel. Loved the main sala - couches were comfortable and coffee in the morning. Great room and bathroom, loved the robes and slippers.

The property is impeccably inspiring with its proximity to the Cathedral of Morelia. Its neo art meets colonial detail. The home of Mexicos first emperor had me sold on this grandiose castle turned hotel. The history of this radical that influenced and was part of the Mexican Independence movement. With his home proximity near Jose Maria Morelos de Pavon another affluent that was a key man in the Mexican Independence was only a couple of blocks away. I loved it! The staff was enriched with knowledge and gave me a tour map with go to place suggestions. I loved the room, music, Champaign welcome and staff.

Perhaps continental breakfast per floor would have been nice.

Located directly across from the cathedral and the jardin. Staff were excellent - friendly and welcoming! Our room had a fabulous view of the cathedral from the large terrace. The bed was very comfortable.

Expensive, but overall was worth the cost. Loud construction noises lasted until 10 PM on our second night - one of the hotel roofs (next to our room) was being resurfaced. The noise occurred only on the second night.

Location, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are huge and comfortable, based on the hotel stay, staff, looks and food, I would have paid more for this stay.

The rooms are modern and spacious. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. The views were amazing! Having a functioning a/c was also a major plus.

I didn't realize the Cathedral's bells ring late into the night. Although our rooms had a beautiful view, the loudness from the street and bells was frustrating.
