Quiet location, comfortable and wonderful host

Very friendly host, comfy bed and a nice fire lighting in stove in breakfast room. Our stay coincided with very stormy weather, however, our room felt warm and snug

A towelling bath robe could be offered/made available to guests using shared bathroom facilities.

Our stay at The Gardens B&B in Birr was excellent. From the very start, the friendly welcome and relaxing atmosphere this is a place where guests are well cared for. The rooms are spotless, cosy, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and generous, the perfect start to the day. The location is peaceful and convenient, with private parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Our hosts were lovely - so welcoming, so accommodating, so kind. We felt right at home - thank you both for the lovely atmosphere you create!

Carmel’s hospitality made my work trip feel more like a vacation. The house is spotlessly clean, Carmel and her husband Billy invited me for a nice evening tea and chat, and breakfast was very generous. The house is located at the end of a cul de sac surrounded by farm fields, but in reasonable walking distance from Birr town center (and Carmel offered me a lift if I didn’t want to walk). The local bus also picks up a few minutes’ walk away.

Very welcoming host that made you feel right at home. Room was clean and very cozy bed. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in Birr for a weekend.
