Shame we couldn’t stay for longer!

This is the most peaceful place I have stayed anywhere in the world! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really welcomed and at home. Steph and David are lovely people and their home is a slice of heaven. Their insistance that we make full use of all the gorgeous gardens is totally genuine and when doing so we felt completely at ease. Furthermore they are very conscious to give you your own space when you are relaxing in the holiday home and it's lovely patio, but they are usually around for a friendly (and very interesting) chat when you arrive or leave. No long lists of rule/do's/don'ts, just a fabulously well equipped and super clean little home that is set in nature's paradise. And if you are a dog lover then Tubbs popping by to say hello a couple of times a day is an added bonus!

There was nothing that we didn't like, but (as mentioned in other reviews) you'll struggle in the bed if you are over 5'10" because of the bar at the bottom, however the sofa bed is a king-size, easy to put up and genuinely comfortable (as sofa beds go). The shower cubicle is also a bit small for a big lump like me, but no problem for anyone normal sized. These things are very minor though when compared to all the wonderful things that make staying here so special.

The cottage is located in a totally unspoilt valley with a large and beautiful garden making it a very quiet and gorgeous natural environment.

We loved our stay here & would definitely return! The location was so peaceful. The owners were lovely people, so friendly & welcoming. Our dog loved the garden & meeting their dog. The place had everything we needed during our stay. The swing was a big hit with our son, he now wants one of his own! Thank you for having us!

A beautiful tranquil place to stay with the perfect hosts.

Nothing, loved the whole stay.

It was our first time in Wales and we arrived later in the evening when it was already dark. Initially, I thought the dead-end road going through a farm and steep down could not be right. But with the area being very rural, we figured it must be. And it was! The owner welcomed us at the gate. The little cottage looks really nice and in the morning, we woke up in the most beautiful location that nature can offer. In the middle of a valley. Absolute quietness with only the sound of birds. Mind, there is no cellular coverage, only wifi. So you really feel like in a retreat. The cottage has all the necessary basic facilities. There is also a TV and DVD player with a very big box full of movies and series on DVD. Great to go through on a rainy night. The owners are truly kind. They made us feel very welcome and helped us with whatever we needed (even washing my shirt after a waitress in a local restaurant spilled coffee on it!). We had a lovely time!

With me being 6,7" (2,02 meters), the bed was a little small. However, it was comfortable, so I managed to sleep well.
