Best Western Le Pont d'Or

We fell in love with Figeac and the hotel was an excellent base to explore from. The staff were all warm and friendly and welcomed our little dog. It was extremely relaxing, easy to park the car in the free car park and a lovely riverside park to walk the dog in the morning. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options so we could create our own healthy breakfast. We also had a room with a little balcony and river view. The restaurant was excellent and good value for money. My husband enjoyed the little rooftop pool and we loved the river views.

Nice balcony for a breakfast or dinner on the river, overviewing parts of the old town. The main area of interest is just 3 to 4 minutes away. Bed was very comfortable, staff very friendly.

Directly by the river, it had no fly screen in the windows. The moment we opened the door to the balcony, we had dozens of insects inside the room. And single glazed windows next to a Main Street are not great for noise cancellation.

Bjr, hôtel pris pour finir notre semaine de randonnée sur les chemins du GR 65 (Compostelle). Très bien pour ce qu'on voulait, à savoir à deux pas du centre de Figeac, pas loin de la gare pour la "Malle Postale" et le retour sur Espallion notre point de départ. Chambre grande et confortable, grand lit, tout équipée, très propre. Bonne insonorisation (nuit très calme). Petit déjeuner très correct. Accueil standard.

Accueil sympathique

The manager tried to compensate by giving us breakfast it fell short. The man who did the breakfast was marvellous.

We booked a delux quadruple room with kitchen 30sq. The pictures and description showed a river view with lovely window. We were given a room in the roof space with a small window that was below our knees. When we questioned they moved us to a very small room with big window and river view and called it an upgrade (it was 40 euro pn cheaper than we paid).
