La Casa de Joel

Joel is just a genuinely nice guy, my partners fluent in Spanish, but I'm not and even with the language barrier, I just liked the guy. Good energy, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable.

Great location and the host Joel is just amazing. He was extremely helpful with finding a good tour operator, free bicycles and even late check out.

Clever and Monica are perfect hosts, attentive to guests needs. The room was comfortable, the bed new and comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and all was very clean. There are restaurants nearby the market few minutes walk with good food in a local setting.

Joel the host was extremely kind and helpful, it is just a single room in his house and we felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable. The free bikes were great to ride to the wall of tears and Joel also helped do our laundry. Location is excellent, close to a few great local restaurants and just a short walk from the beach and the ferry terminal.

Joel and his family are very kind and friendly. Joel helps us giving lots of information and reserving taxis. The location is great. The room was cleaned every day

The kitchen should be cleaner

Very large room, we had our own fridge which was handy. Nice bathroom, very large shower and tons of hooks to.hang wet bathing suits, clothes, towels etc. The owner was very friendly and attentive but spoke very limited English. Good access to town.

Beds were a bit firm for me.

An exceptionally generous and attentive host. A large room. Close to grocery stores, a bakery, and a couple of good restaurants off the main street. The free bikes were delightfully useful during our stay. Free laundry. Unlimited drinking water supply. Would certainly recommend to a friend

The air conditioner could be stronger.

Incredibly friendly and helpful owner. Lovely place, very large room and huge bathroom, all very clean, AC working well. Free bikes to use for guests (we used them to cycle to the wall of tears, lots to see on the way). Just 5 mins walk to the beach, and lots of restaurants and shops round the corner.

The host Joel is so friendly. Brings you in like family and is always available to help. Having bikes available is also great value, we used them daily to get down to the harbour to snorkel and into the national park.
