Our Farmhouse, Our Place: Cozy and Cute homestead!

I got this stay for my son’s family. About 4 days before arrival, we were given a lot of instructions and we were told to use a certain digital code to gain entry. We thought we were set, but the code didn't work. They instead hid a key but we didn't know this had been changed. So the family was not able to get inside on the arrival date. The family had to stay in a crowded hotel room and the next day I went to the Booking.com website to try to reach the owner. Only then did I see a message, which I believe was posted the day before, saying the key was hidden. Nobody ever contacted me or any of us with the change even though I gave all my contact information. I paid over $1800 for three nights. I asked for a refund of only $211 for the hotel room my son’s family had to pay for the first night and I was refused. In addition, shortly before arrival, the owner notified us we had to do a lot of the cleanup work. In writing they said: Please strip used bed linens and take all towels down to the laundry room and start the first load of laundry. Please ensure all dishes are either handwashed or the dishwasher is started. Please make sure all foods you brought in are disposed of or taken home. Turn off the thermostat and all light prior to departure. Trash day is Wednesday, if you are staying during the week, please make sure they are out Tuesday night. If you are leaving on a Sunday or Monday please drag the trash and recycle to the curb. I didn't expect that much work because I paid a $225 cleaning fee and in my experience, most places that charge this much don't require that much cleanup by the guests. This is supposed to be a vacation.

Spacious and open feel home, clean and comfortable, had all the conveniences we expected. Its a farm house with big open space around. It met all our expectations.

Cute spot, liked the openness about the property. Farmhouse was a good place to chill out, had games to play, fire pit to hangout and just vibe out, a little John Deere riding tractor in garage, brand new washer and dryer.

Some linens were stained(pull out sofa), so didn’t used them. Also, just a little too many Cobb/spider webs in corners.

Very nice quiet area, and nice home

There was no toilet paper in any bathrooms. No paper towels. Lots of spiders webs in home, and at night be careful we found several sun spiders on the carpet

The location was great. Close enough to Paso Robles but outside the city. It was very quiet out there with the exception of some of the neighbors' animals. Didn't think that was a problem thou. That added to the atmosphere of being out there.

More coffee essentials and napkins. Short on paper products if you know what I mean.

The house is simply amazing and has everything one needs when away from home. Very clean, very welcoming, the front and backward are a dream come true if you love enjoying a bbq dinner and coffee outside in the morning. But even if you don't, inside the house is gorgeous and extremely welcoming The neighbours are awesome and the neighborhood is perfect for walks
