Cosy and Central in Claremont

Deirdre was a great host! She even dropped my keys off at the office where I was having meetings the day of check-in. There are so many touches in the unit that are extremely thoughtful. Additional plugs if you forgot yours etc. Can see she hosts for international guests often, which is great, as there are many informative snippets in the room making your stay in Cape Town better informed. Loved the colourful decor as well. Not overdone, but really quirky.

Not much to not like about property. Maybe just note that it is just off a busy street and to be careful in the area if you are planning to walk women alone late at night (like anywhere else in the world tbh).

I really enjoyed my stay here with my family, the place was very comfy and spacious.

Downside, the place is close to a UCT residence and a bar or night club which can get quite noisy and there was no TV in the room.

We loved staying at Cosy and Quiet as it fulfilled our needs of wanting to stay near Cavendish and our daughter who lives nearby. The apartment was very clean and tidy , and it had everything to make our stay so comfortable. Our host Dierdre was very pleasant and friendly and responded promptly and very efficiently to all our needs for a memorable stay in Cape town. We would definitely stay at Quiet and Cosy again!

There wasnt anything that we didnt like or that affected our stay there. The only thing that i did find a bit cumbersome was opening and closing the huge aluminium gate but i got used to it after a few days. Nevertheless one has to be grateful for the safe parking it provided.

The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything looked just as the pictures that was shown on booking.com the bathroom shower was spacious and clean. The apartment is walking distance to Cavendish square which is a very nice shopping mall. There is a KFC and Pedro's fast food place in walking distance as well which we were happy to have our first dinner when we arrived. The kitchen is small and basic but it was nice to have a mini fridge.

The apartment is a micro apartment so that was quite a shock when we arrived. We are not use to such small spaces and especially did not expect or want that for a long vacation, we booked for 9 nights. Fortunately we could use the sofa to place our luggage. For us it was a mismatch with the price paid and the apartment value, it should not have been priced at what it was for what we were getting. It is really just a place to come and shower and sleep. The apartment is perfect for a single person but not for sharing. The pictures give an allusion that there is a terrace where you can spend time however this is not the case. The location is next to a nightclub and gambling place and also close to the bus terminal. These gave the location an unsafe feeling which caused us lots of concern when we arrived back at night after going out for dinners. Fortunately the nightclub and street security people assisted us as there were drunk vagrants hanging around causing problems. I do not recommend this place if you are traveling with children. It is not quiet with a lot of noise coming from the street taxis and night club patrons. We vacated the apartment earlier than our checkout date as we could not remain in such environment.

Lovely apartment near to Cape Town, comfortable bed all amenities and Deirdre is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
