Studio in Barrio Salamanca (D)

In our case, the apartment's location was simply perfect for our purposes. This apartment was chosen specifically for its location. For the average tourist who wants to visit tourist Madrid, getting to the center takes +30 minutes, but all transportation is nearby. On the same street there is a supermarket, a cafe, and a store with everything for the home.

The shower was very strange. The water stream was very strong, which was a plus, but since the water didn't drain quickly enough, I had to turn it off and wait for water to drain. The shower stream couldn't be made any weaker. The pipes make a lot of noise when someone uses the shower, this applies if people are taking showers in neighboring apartments. There's no soundproofing. You can clearly hear what's going on in the next apartment and the hallway.

It’s basically a basement apartment with almost no air circulation. There are no windows, only a small sunroof on the ceiling like in a car. The couch and floors were dirty, and the bedding had an unpleasant smell. The shower drains extremely slowly, so you have to wait for the water to go down before you can continue showering. I definitely do not recommend staying here. Pay a bit more and choose another place.

I absoluetly disliked that the shower did not have warm water, as we had to shower with cold water.
