O que menos gostei foi que na altura da reserva indicava que tinha um grelhador exterior e na altura da estadia não tinha. O proprietário recusou-se a colocá-lo.

Location was fantastic. Advice for here though- you will need a car! And having a car makes this home very accessible. Located just off Funchal, only 10 minutes away from the airport. From the front balcony, you can see the city and the sea. Amazing views morning and night. Facilities are excellent. Loved the touch of boardgames and retro xbox360. As well as, dvds (Smart TV has access to netflix). The kitchen is very well prepped with plenty of facilities. We actually ate in every night so having a fully functional kitchen was a massive hit. If I were to come back to Madeira I would certainly stay here again, no hesitation. Staff was very communicating well throughout the whole booking and staying process. If you're planning on coming for an adventure holiday with a group of people, in my case it was me and my two brothers, this home is certainly for you. 3 bedrooms, 5 beds, a living area, a large kitchen, two shower rooms, outdoor facilities for cleaning muddy clothes. We were spoiled.

My room had a musty smell. The home itself was spotless, absolutely no bugs despite the damp weather on our visit (very big compliment). But the musty smell was a little annoying, no more than that though. The rain shower may need to be updated as I feel it's past its best. Still very clean though.

Parking available directly opposite the house on the street or a bit further down the road at a small parking area. Bus number 34 brings you directly to the city center (and all the way up the mountain again!) and stops just a few meters from the house.

We arrived at a dirty apartment and it took them 6 hours to get someone to clean it, which then was obviously done in a hurry with some parts remaining unattended. Seems like there was a miscommunication between the owner, management and cleaners or so... In the end we were the ones suffering from it. No refund or similar was offered. We just got a message the night before check out, that we have to leave at 10, instead 12, because there are new hygiene rules in the country. Would have thought it's quite ironic if I wouldn't have been so annoyed. We had no water at all for about 2 hrs one evening and we're told it will eventually come back... Gate lock is really annoying to figure out. Could be such an easy fix, if someone cared...
