B&B Delle Serre

I have been travelling a lot recently and this is easily one of, if not the best place I have stayed. The host is super friendly and helpful- the location is excellent- half way between Messina and Taormina; with hardly any tourists. 5 min drive from the beach and some excellent restaurants- perfect; with great views. It is hard to leave!

Everything was absolutely perfect ! The room with private bathroom and access to a terrace is beautiful and perfectly clean. The hostess is very nice and friendly, she also speaks french. Thanks so much !

Not able to walk around the area - need a car.

First of all, I had a problem with my car’s GPS, but the host came to find me and accompanied me to the property. The place was the first one better than I saw online, clean and modern. The host brought me every day fresh fruits from their garden, apart from the breakfast that was included and even gave me fruits when I left. I highly recommended this property.

We heard some noises on the corridor from the other Guests that woke us up at night.

The hosts are very charming and welcoming people. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with excellent facilities. The bathroom is first class. Parking is outside on the quiet street. The nearest motorway junction is only two kilometres, perfect for heading south to Catania and Syracuse.

There are no restaurants in the vecinity. We drove 5 kilometres back into Messina to a recommended restaurant but it proved impossible to find a parking space within a reasonable distance, the streets all around were absolutely jammed. We ended up buying some food in Lidl for a room picnic, not a big problem. If you are used to driving in Britain, you'll need to have your wits about you driving in Messina! It is frantic.
