Belfast Macs double room shared bathroom

The free breakfast was a good touch and initially the staff were friendly

Property is expensive for being so far out of the town, the bed had hair on it and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. The checkout time is insanely early- 9am. In the morning my Uber was 10 minutes late and the host was passive agrressive that I hadn’t left the property at exactly the time despite everything being out of my room. They then sent a text message of a screen shot of the check out time (it was literally ten minutes past) and I felt so uncomfortable that I ended up waiting outside in the rain for an extra five minutes on the Uber. Wouldn’t recommend - just buy yourself breakfast and stay somewhere closer in town as you’ll have to spend near 20 quid on an Uber anyway.

Very bad experience Very rude host. Forced me out to leave house while waiting for taxi at 9:30 and asked me wait on the road in freezing cold and not in the lounge I was on call doctor and took an emergency call at 7:15 am. She called and left messages that other resident asleep. I explained the purpose of call and mentioned it is morning 7:15, not midnight and an emergency call. She said I should go outside in freezing cold to take the call I am on this app for more than 10 years Never such ridiculous, rude and inhuman behaviour Strongly recommend to avoid this place and would request booking.com to remove this property

I THINK THE HOST WAS BUSY WHEN i STAYED THERE SO PROBABLY NOT THE NORM. there was a big kitchen available and a sitting room .

You can tell that the owner has travelled extensively, she very clearly understands what guests require and she provides everything without having to be asked for it. The facilities are immaculate and Cathy makes sure you feel welcome and at home. Her check-in and check-out systems are thorough and concise, not leaving anyone to have to guess. Whether making recommendations or booking a taxi, she has your back 100%! Plus, there is a bus stop right outside the residence. I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again one day! Thank you for everything, Cathy! It was a delight meeting you and Belfast became a highlight of my trip because of you.
