Franca’s dream - Bellagio

the apartment is clean and located close to the beach, it has everything you need like fridge, kitchen equipment or clean bed linen and towels, very friendly and helpful owner, parking is included and it’s located on closed private territory. good disposition of rooms.

Old style apartment, a little effort could have been made to make it look more professional.

The location is very good, you can see the Alps from the balcony, but unfortunately it rained heavily during our stay. The owner was very nice and let us stay for an extra hour until the rain subsided before checking out.

It was very cold, and the heating was turned off, the host told us that we cannot use it until 1.11.The children had to pay the tourist tax, even if normally they don't pay until 14 years old.

Location extremely convenient. Agent was very amenable to assist with change of arrival time due to public transportation challenges. Very comfortable unit. Ten minutes walk to supermarkets x 2 and dairy; 2 minutes walk to bar/pizzeria also selling a few essentials ie milk (great for self catering).

Was told by ? real estate agent that it was 10 minutes walk to the unit from Bellagio ferry. It was in fact 25 minutes walk, with luggage, up a steep hill, and down again, with no usable safe footpath (had to walk along busy main road). I knew that there was a public C30 bus and if we had known that the walk was so far with luggage we would have used the bus. Some deficiencies I would have not expected - light over bathroom mirror not working, shower fixture needs attention (tied up with plastic), no plug in the kitchen sink to assist with washing up, no laundry detergent supplied with washing machine, no toaster supplied (but could use griller in oven), no iron. Owner of unit, who lived in same block of units, lent us an iron & replaced a globe in one of the lights not working in the lounge.
