The Haven 2 night minimum stay

This is such a fantastic place to stay. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything. Spacious, spotless with a small kitchen and a great shower. We stayed to attend a passing out parade at HMS Raleigh and this beautiful room is less than 5 minutes drive away. Thank you so much.

Tv a bit small from the bed. Hard to read guide listening plus Netflix didn’t work.

Beautifully presented, decorated and supplied with all your needs. Very, very comfortable bed. ( I took the name of the matress). Very accommodating hosts. Would strongly recommend .

Nothing to do with the hosts or the property... they were great. Despite the owners stating that they only take 2 night bookings, Booking.com accepted my one night booking and took my payment. They also stated that if I cancelled, I would lose my money. I made the booking as it all seemed acceptable. I was then contacted by the owners, who said they only accepted 2 night bookings, and asked me to cancel. I fully understand this. I was in a no- win situation through no fault of mine or the Haven owners. The owners agreed to our staying there, as we had limited options, with our extreme gratitude, with a surcharge to cover their costs. This situation needs to be reviewed both for the owners and for prospective clients, so that this situation Dorset not arise again.

Lovely annex with everything you could think of included. The hosts provided bread, jam, cereal, butter and milk as well as biscuits and packet soup, all of which was very welcome after a long journey. Barry was friendly and helpful when I arrived but they respect your privacy. Also very quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable, with extra blankets provided. If you are coming by public transport, you can get the bus over on the ferry from Plymouth station and it stops 2 minutes from the accomodation. I will stay again!

Happy with everything. Perhaps provide shampoo as well as shower gel.

Perfect location for visiting friends, great host and accommodation was beautiful, spotless and very homely.
