Nice clean and freshly decorated house

There was a shortage of cutlery for 4 of us to eat a meal and no scissors.

Nicely renovated clean and warm house. Shop a minute away. Close to bus stop. Quiet area. Comfy beds. Plenty of storage space.

No mirror in bathroom. Bathroom sink too small considering it is the only one in the house. No hair dryer available. No bedside lamps. Parking was not ideal. TV is mounted too high up and is too large for the size of room. The style of dinning furniture not to our taste.

Good location visiting family, very handy convenience store close by.

Suitable for our needs

The house was very clean with an excellent level of comfort, comfy bed, lovely new carpets and a brilliant rainfall shower. There is a convenience shop at the end of the road, and a fantastic traditional pub round the corner. We loved the location, we will definitely be back again.

There was a problem with the boiler pressure, resulting in no heating, hot water or shower. Following a conversation with the owner we are able to sort this out, which didn't deter from our enjoyment of our stay, it was just a bit inconvenient.

Good location, comfy beds

Could do with some bedside lamps and a hand towel in the bathroom and soap. Just small things bit would make it better.

The house is completely renovated and therefore very clean, well ordered and fully equipped. We really appreciated the washing machine/dryer. 3 bedrooms are perfect for a family stay. 2 are spacious and 1 is smaller, but our teenager really loved it.

Some details could be improved: e. g. no mirror in the bathroom, no bath mat, there could be a table in the kitchen (instead in the living room). But these are minor shortcomings.

Not a lot other than it was clean, Well done the cleaner lady.

This is not a new house as described. It has been refurbished, well decorated but mostly cheap furnishings such as a dining room table made from mfi and stools to match, broken toilet bolt at back has sheared, texted the owner he replied and said nothing could be done as it was the weekend. The only bathroom and toilet and was situated downstairs. No normal size bathroom basin in the bathroom. No mirror in the bathroom. Front garden with dirty steep steps up into garden, broken paving overgrown with weeds. Rubbish in black bags and builders materials left in the front garden. Back garden, some decking but nothing to sit on, more weeds, and overlooked by neighbour with four sheds.Kitchen floor and stairs creak. Parking, very difficult to find anywhere close to the property to park
