The use of electronic locks allows for changes to one’s intended arrival time due to traffic hold-ups, etc The location of the property is such that one can walk to the National Mall or take the metro system from Pentagon City to get rapidly to the centre of Washington DC. We chose this property as an alternative to a hotel room in the centre of Washington. Our two daughters got a room each; they are getting a bit old to be sharing a room with Mum & Dad. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Having a kitchen was also a bonus. We could relax at the end of the day with our own choice of food. There was plenty of space to park around the property and a visitor’s permit was provided.

We had no problems with the property.

The apparent is ideally located and was very clean, spacious and both the owner and property manager were very friendly and helpful.

I would recommend having good exterior lighting. I arrived late in the evening and even though I was using my GPS, the house numbers were not visible in the dark and had to call for assistance. This was a last minute reservation and perhaps this would not have been an issue if they had more advanced notice of my arrival. Having said that, I booked a two night stay and the second day I arrived in the evening again and again it was really dark outside. Aside from that, the place was fantastic and would stay there again.

Location was great. Easy to walk around and not have to drive

The apartment was too hot and the AC couldn’t keep up with the heat.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean and fully equipped. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The host provided very clear instructions.

The floors were very squeaky and there was no soundproofing. Moreover, the house was a bit far from the metro station. Finally one of the bedrooms had no black out blinds.

The location is good for visiting Arlington and Washington with the Metro a short walk away. Restaurants and Bars/Bistros are also a short walk away. The neighborhood is great surrounded by other suburban homes, safe, and easy to walk around outside.

There is another apartment upstairs. Inhabitant (Ben) was very nice, friendly, and helpful, but you could easily hear noise coming through the floor from above. Several of the beds were not very comfortable.

The property was close to a metro stop so the entire city was accessible to us. It was nice knowing at the end of a long day taking in all the things Washington DC has to offer that we could sit back and recharge in a really comfortable quiet location.

Nice folks, nice cat, nice neighborhood. We really liked to be there, next time we'll take more time.
