I split my review into categories: Location - very strong plus for 10 mins walking distance to the most central city square, really convenient. As for the street - it`s a very small one, linking two bigger ones. Not the most beautiful place but fitting in the "local folklore", several run down houses, rubbish here and there. Soundproofing of the flat is rather poor, it`s got metal outside doors. I normally sleep with earplugs so it helped. From inside you can hear occasional traffic (street is tiny and narrow so not a lot) and neighbours or passers-by talking (again, occasionally). Although, I can imagine being on one of the bigger streets would be much louder, unless you get a place on one of the upper floors. I did not really spend much time sitting at home, obviously doing stuff, so did not feel much affected by this. Facilities/Flat - there is AC, Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine (plus small yard outside to hang the washing or sit just down), fridge, cooker, kettle, iron. Plus some cutlery, crockery, and pans/pots. No microwave. Towels provided. One double and one single bed. Bathroom ok, shower a bit small. The flat is refreshed but consists a couple of dated bits, like some furniture and sockets. Not a massive area but for 1-2 people just fine. Personally, I think the flat would benefit with the comfy chair/armchair (at the cost of removing one bedside table), as there are only hard kitchen chairs to sit on. Overall, place was satisfactory for me and my needs, for people looking for something slightly more luxurious or extravagant might be insufficient. Host - very welcoming and helpful. Must be living close, as after my call came with the key within 1 minute and was available in case of any problems. Speaks Italian only, but we managed to communicate using google translate together with a few known bits across the languages. Good impression. Price - when I did the search and booking, it was one of the most competitive finds in this category.

The apartment is nice, comfortable, and clean. The location is good, though a bit far from the city center. . The host is very nice and polite. I totally recommend it for a short stay!

Our only concern is the bathroom door, which was broken and didn’t provide privacy.

When we arrived, it was very cold, and the air conditioning was not working. We asked about how to use the coffee maker, but it wasn’t working either. To use the gas stove, we needed a lighter, but unfortunately, that didn’t work either. The hostess promised to bring a new coffee maker and gas lighter the next morning, but we did not receive the promised items. The next evening, when we got home, we noticed that there was no water at all. We immediately wrote to her to come and help solve the problem. She was out of town, so it took about 2 hours for her to arrive, by which time the problem was resolved. She said there was an issue with the water network, and this could happen again. Fortunately, this problem did not recur during our stay. The next day, the air conditioner displayed an error message, so the apartment was cold because it was running. The bedroom was separated from the street by an iron door, where the cold air was coming in. Fortunately, the hostess arrived a few minutes later, and we received the new coffee maker and gas lighter, although we had to wait until the next morning for warmth, as there was only one air conditioner in the kitchen, which heated the entire apartment. Since we only received a thin blanket and a sheet, we had to spend the nights in warm clothes to avoid getting cold. These issues, along with the lack of a few basic kitchen items (cutting board, kitchen towel), made our stay uncomfortable. Additionally, there was no wardrobe to put our clothes in, as the chest of drawers was full of tablecloths and an ironing board (although there was no iron in the apartment). The only positive thing was that the host was kind and helpful, but this often did not solve the problems.

The apartment is in accordance with the neighborhood in which it is located, but equipped with everything you need. It would benefit from renovation, but it is clean and correct, also excellent considering the price and walking distance to the center. The bed was new and extremely comfortable. I would come again.

A little disadvantage was having only one door between the apartment and a street. The sturdier door would be amazing.

Great location for visiting the town. Very clean, cosy apartment with everything you need for your stay and a wonderful lady ready to help if needed. Really enjoyed our stay here.
