This apartment is stunning, very spacious and I loved the style, very carefully thought out and quite traditional with a mix of modern. The old maps in frames and decor was really lovely. Lovely terrace and a fabulous location. Very safe and secure. Hearing how the Sicilians live around the courtyard was a plus for me and an immersive experience. Fabio the owner was amazing and so helpful and communicative, a truly nice person.

There are some building works around the area, but it won’t make a difference if your out and about all day and the Sicilians are amazing at how quick they get things done (replaced pipes under the road in less than 24 hours) unlike most places! Need to be a bit careful about noise on the terrace as the noise carries and it’s an enclosed courtyard, but as long as you are aware it’s all good. These are all things that aren’t a problem, and you will enjoy your stay guaranteed!

Extremely clean, spacious, and central location. Fabio was an excellent host and checked on me throughout my stay via text. A great value! Can sleep up to 8 people.

It’s on the ground floor

It had more than we needed. You can stay up to 7-8 people. Very clean and comfortable with nice neighborhood. The location was great. We could find free parking place around. The owner of the house welcomed us with a bottle of wine, he was very warm and answered all our questions about Palermo.

Very clean, big (can easily sleep 7-8 people) renovated apartment on the ground floor in an old building (Italian type palazzo) with a private spacious patio in the inner courtyard with some antique furniture in a couple of the rooms for authentic local flavor. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen and great bathroom. There’s air-conditioning in a couple of places but I didn’t need it. Very attentive hosts, great communication and very accommodating - I could check-in earlier since there wasn’t anyone leaving that fay and leave my luggage for few hours before I left! Close to historic center (just 5-6 min by foot to the famous Mercato del Capo and Teatro Massimo) and 8 min walk from Palermo Lolli train station. Friendly helpful neighbors across the patio in the same yard/building.

All fine for me but bear in mind it’s ground floor apartment so a couple of the rooms (it’s 3 bedrooms) don’t get enough natural light in case that’s important for you. However, in hot weather it’s an advantage- the place stays cool and has cross ventilation with open windows.

We really appreciated the homeliness of la casa di Nanà. The host was friendly and welcomed us on our arrival. The location was in a very walkable and nice neighbourhood that we enjoyed exploring. Everything in the property was clean and tidy when we arrived, and thoughtfully equipped. The beds were very comfortable. My favourite aspect was that it is a property with personality, and the outdoor area was a nice bonus.

The strong room scents dotted around seemed unnecessary to me. However this is just a personal preference.
