Property was not clean upon our arrival. Not sure when it was last cleaned. Example of this being things like a think line of dust under the bedroom pillow, fake eye lash stuck to the mirror in the en suite, the pillows and sofa were covered in stains as was the mat in the bedroom, the window in the main bedroom had mold on it, as did the wall next to the window. The fridge and kitchen utensils had not been properly washed. The state of the mop they used to clean the floors, it’s disgusting and they had the front to tell me repeatedly it’s clean. I reported all this and the host was responsive, but I didn’t appreciate having to organise with the cleaning company myself when they would come to clean it. When you pay that much for somewhere that’s the last thing you expect especially when the cleaning company representative was at first not responsive then obtuse. We had to pay extra to check-in early, which is fine itself. But you’d think in light of all the issues there would be some offer of compensation, however nothing. For us as a family the location was a little loud at night, but in the main bedroom you couldn’t hear at night, only the second bedroom and the living area. I would strongly not recommend.
