Cosy, bed was comfortable, good shower, garden was cute and hot tub was a great experience.

Upgrade the toilet paper but it’s not a huge deal because they still give you some. Hot tub did have some residue around water rim that was off putting at first and could put people off using it.

Setting nice but didn’t do balloons and banners for wife’s birthday as was promised. Hot tub was a lazy spa not correctly inflated bbq dirty electric sockets hanging of walls nails poking out cut wife’s leg. Dirty need work

Such a beautiful stay! Great communication from the hosts. The outside area was definitely the highlight of it for us and even the rain didn’t stop us from enjoying it. We do wish we would have been able to use the bbq though but we can’t help the rain! The bed was nice and comfy and a little bottle of Prosecco upon arrival was really appreciated. We were allowed a late check out thanks to the lovely host so we managed to enjoy it just that little bit longer. There were great instructions on how to find the lodge as the gate does spring up on you on the road! Tea/coffee/sugar all available too. There was a fridge and a hob (no oven) which we made use of. Only a 5 minute drive (if that) from the nearest town. We would definitely be back again should we ever be in the area!

This is definitely just constructive and no complaints but I thought I’d share! We would have loved a curtain on the door to feel that extra bit of privacy/security. We were also missing essentials such as sponges, tea towel, kitchen roll which made washing up a bit of a challenge. It would also be handy for a towel rack in the bathroom just so that we don’t have to put the towels on the floor or on the toilet. We couldn’t work out if we were being silly when it came to the shower as it kept alternating between being scolding hot and freezing cold so there was a lot of jumping in and out! Just to reiterate these are not to complain as we had a lovely time but just things we picked up on :)

Good location, all the basics were available, clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor space.

A curtain over the main doors would have been preferred.
