Handy location near the train station provided easy access to the cinque Terre. Very clean and spacious. Giusy was an exceptional host with great communication, making easy check-in as well as spoiling us with some tasty home made treats. She made us feel very welcome and at home. Highly recommend!

Our stay at La Maison des Caprices was truly enjoyable, thanks to Giusy’s wonderful hospitality. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and was always available whenever we needed anything. Her quick responses and helpful advice on places to visit made our trip even better.

The host met me at the property, showed me how to use everything, and gave me lots of information about the area. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer any questions, even brought me breakfast, she couldn't have been any more helpful. The apartment was amazing and had everything you could need. I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't sleep being so close to the train station but it wasn't an issue at all and I slept really well as the bed was so comfortable. Being so close to the station it is ideal for visits to Cinque Terre, Pisa, Livorno etc and there is a bus to Portovenere and Lerici. There is a small supermarket just a couple of minutes walk and the apartment is just 5 minutes from the Main Street where there are lots of shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this apartment and will hopefully return soon.

Very well equipped apartment. We had a lovely welcome from the host, all the little extras were very much appreciated. The location is good. Everything was very clean . Would definitely recommend.

We liked everything

The host was super friendly, answered all our questions, brought us breakfast on the last day and let us stay later on the checkout day, for free. The house had everything we needed and was very spacious - we came with a baby, and had a baby cot prepared for us. The apartment is located 3 minutes walk from the central train station, that we used every day to get to the Cinque Terre villages. It is also at the end of the main street with many restaurants and shops.

The elevator is very small and located at the end of a steep staircase. Getting the baby stroller inside and out of the elevator was very annoying - we had to fold it each time, it didn't fit otherwise. Also carrying the suitcases up and down was annoying. However, this was common to other places we stayed in - it seems like people in this area don't care about babies and handicaps.

Giusy was an amazing host, who met us at the apartment when we arrived. She gave us great advice on where to go and what to do in La Spezia. The welcome limoncello was a lovely touch as was the beautiful breakfast the morning we checked out. Giusy was attentive to our messages ahead of and during our stay. The location of this spacious apartment is perfect, less than a five minute walk to the train station, for access to the Cinque Terre. Could not recommend this apartment highly enough.

It was very clean, rooms were big and the unit was well-equipped. It was a 5 minute walk to the train station and close to the shopping area as well. The owner left us limoncello and brought us hot croissants/cappuccino on the last day. A very kind and lovely person.

It was the perfect location for wanting to stay at a cheaper place and visit Cinque Terre- 4 minute walk to the train station! Additionally, the host was amazing. She brought my friends and I lemoncello shots and made us an Italian-style breakfast on our last day. She was very sweet and even let us leave our bags after checkout so we could explore more. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Highly recommend!
