Lovely caravan was very homely with everything that you need

Amazing caravan, host went out of her way to make sure it was ready and all heated up for us considering it was a very last minute booking. Very helpful and always on hand if we needed anything. Just perfect

Our group of five had a particularly disappointing experience that highlighted the careless treatment of guests and a concerning disregard for safety. We informed the host of our check-in time at 5 PM, but upon arrival, we struggled to locate the property due to an incorrect address and a misleading site map. This was especially challenging given the heavy rain. When we contacted the host for assistance, the guidance was confusing and unhelpful. Eventually, we found the property, only to discover it was already occupied by an elderly couple and their two dogs. While they were apologetic, the situation was awkward for everyone involved. The host then asked us to wait 20 minutes for the current guests to vacate, which turned out to be a frustrating experience. The host claimed that the previous guests had only stayed for a short time and that cleaning wasn't necessary, despite the presence of their dogs. Once inside the property, we found the caravan itself to be charming, but that was where our troubles began. There was no hot water and the heating was not functioning. With the rain continuing outside and after a long, tiring day, we attempted to resolve the issue ourselves, but to no avail. When we reached out to the host again, the response was dismissive, stating that the previous guests hadn’t complained. This indicated a troubling lack of concern for guest safety and comfort. Feeling that it was futile to continue the conversation, we hung up. As a result, we had to endure freezing showers and spent our time in the caravan bundled up in jackets and socks. It was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Later that night, the host did come to check the boiler but admitted she wasn’t a gas engineer and couldn’t provide a solution. Overall, this experience revealed a serious lack of care for guest welfare and safety, and I would not recommend this property to anyone.
