Right at Sol but quiet and comfortable, plenty of restaurants and bars around; comfortable beds and fully-equipped facilities; the host communicated in advance and he is very responsive. Very good experience!

The location

Room, size and location

Multi level, living area part of master bedroom. Hot water mixing in upstairs bathroom poor, result cool shower, an easy fix.

This is a very nice central location in Madrid and was pretty spacious for being in the heart of the city. Three bedrooms and two baths meant that the 3 of us had no problems with space during our trip. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have all of the amenities.

It was a bit rough when we got in and had to figure out the hot water heater, and then wait for it to start working after a long day traveling. Also, the shower glass is also not really long enough so water does get on the floor a bit. The three bedrooms are definitely not traditional; the one upstairs is also used as the living room (but it does have a door), one of the downstairs rooms doesn't have a door. While this spot is in the heart of the city that also means that there are nightlife sounds coming in until the bars close.

Location is very good.

The owner claimed that I had smoked in the room. Even though I found cigarette butts when I got into the home, I didn’t even mention that. It was hard for me to convince the owner, but in the end, we managed to figure it out.
