Padova Dream: flat in the heart of Padua

El apartamento era muy funcional y cómodo. Algo apartado aunque a 10 minutos andando llegabas a la zona centro de Padova. Lo mejor la amabilidad del anfitrión. Estoy muy agradecida de que me ayudara tanto a la llegada como a la salida y estuviera pendiente de mi comodidad. Hay un buen supermercado, restaurantes cerca que vienen muy bien. La estación de tren a 15 minutos andando. El apartamento tenía todo lo necesario, menaje, cubiertos, platos de sobra. Muy cómodo para 1-2 personas

Me hubiera encantado un lavavajillas y tener amenities (jabón de ducha, champú, etc...)

Bellissimo appartamento, dotato di tutti i comfort, pulito e comodo per gli spostamenti! Il proprietario ha accontentato le nostre richieste ed è stato molto cortese. Lo consiglio!

Il Wi-Fi non funzionava, ma credo fosse un problema momentaneo!

Quiet location but also near train and bus station.some pleasant cafes for breakfast nearby. Apartment was very welcoming with charming decorations.

Location was perfect for Padua attractions. Lovely village atmosphere with students enjoying themselves, also close to train station, cafes. Apartment situated up a lane with 2 supermarkets, fruit stall and bakery close by.

Check in was difficult as no communication until we were at front door of apartment block. Fortunately 2 lovely ladies next door let us in. Only communication from Jack was for us to send passport photos via whatsapp and leave city tax money on table. The only TV was in bedroom. Lounge/ kitchenette Ok for one but too small for two. Bad luck if you wanted to prepare a meal. As we were there for 5 nights we would have appreciated more than one bath towel each. Jack; it would have been nice if you'd been in touch to see if all was going well or if we needed anything, especially as it was the weekend. Ps. Wine glass had a crack in it.

This was a charming compact flat. Perfect for one person, perhaps a little small for two big people, although there was plenty of space to store belongings and it had a lovely layout. It was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the shower worked well. A lovely atmosphere and I would definitely return to it again if I were to visit Padova again. The location was great - quiet but in reach of the main area.

Check in is late - 5 p.m. I wanted to check in earlier and was told that I may be able to leave luggage there, but not really a lot of information on how to do this so in the end I sat in a cafe with my luggage to wait. When I did get there to check in, I was sent a text re a lock box for the key and asked to send my information by phone. Although the host was extremely responsive to texts, I did feel this was a little impersonal in comparison to someone meeting you there and showing you around. I stayed at two other Italian properties following this experience and the hosts met with me and showed me around, and I realized how much more welcoming this felt. I also felt that as the information was sent via text and the keys in a lock box, that it would have been great if this information was sent the moment the room was ready, rather than waiting until 5 p.m. This would still leave time for the host to get it clean, but in the event of the room being ready sooner, would be a lovely surprise to be able to enter sooner. With reference to Padova - I wasn't aware that the Hop On Hop Off bus was only running at weekends, and also that if you want to go to Scrovegni Chapel, definitely book before your trip. Also the Botanical Gardens are closed on Mondays! I could have planned better but I still enjoyed the atmosphere of walking around this lovely place.
