Jeonju Hanok Village, Maison14

We spent two nights at Maison 14 and I have to say they were pretty much perfect. The apartment we stay in was Room C, it is really cozy, spacious and clean with a large space outside of it. The main room with the jacuzzi is so bright and gives a calm feeling. At night it was also quiet and thanks to the comfortable bed we had a lovely sleep. The communication with the host was really good, they are kind and they helped us organize the parking as well. Was probably out best stay in South Korea and I would definitely recommend it! Will definitely come back to try the other lovely apartments!

Très belle petite maison traditionnelle, chaleureuse avec des équipements de haute qualité. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la décoration atypique et surprenante, mêlant le charme du hanok coréen à des reproductions d'œuvres d'art occidental.

Location was great and convenient to the main town centre. It was tricky to figure out the access code keypad at first (not clear in order for the numbers to appear you need to press first), but then had no issues.

The drains smell a bit (but the host has taken measures to address and try to fix - it's a common problem in the area!)

The room is comfortable and well equipped. It has a projector with Netflix / YouTube, speaker etc.

The bathtub which is the main selling point and reason for the expensive price point does not really work - the flow of water is too slow for the size of the tub, it's impossible to fill up with hot water unless you leave the water running on for hours, by which time any hot water you put into the tub gets cold. We had it running on for almost an hour and it barely got filled up 20% of the way. Also, this is not a jacuzzi, it does not have any bubbles / massage feature, it's just a giant tub. If this worked correctly, I'd say the room was worth it, but for over 100 gbp in Jeonju, I think it's quite expensive for what you get.

De locatie is heel gunstig gelegen! Alles zit in de buurt, en het verblijf is heel fijn
