A Cornish Cabin in the Tamar Valley

Modern and Clean. Had everything that you would require. Within walking distance of the railway station about 1/2 km. Beautiful Cornish cream tea provided. Everything was perfect.

It had everything we needed, it was comfortable, clean and relaxing.

Everything was very well presented, furnished and set up for a small stay. Everything needed in terms of facilities was there almost feeling like staying in a full house. More than enough room for two making our stay very comfortable.

The location, which is very difficult to find at night (use this in Google maps 50.518228,-4.225086), is spectacular, well situated with easy access to the main roads to go further into Cornwall or Devon. Great views from the windows. Cabin is located in the grounds of a private house, which, when you get there at night, makes you wonder if you're in the right location, as there is no real signage making you think you are. However, quick call and the owner comes out swiftly. Owner, Johnathan, is very pleasant and will show you all of the benefits of the cabin, as well as controls etc. Place looks exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable, great little log burner, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, great shower with good water pressure and good internet/TV streaming. For a business traveller looking to cook for themselves, or a couple, this is a great place.

Nothing really. Owner has already said that he may get EV charging points in the near future, which would be great, even if it's a charge of 44p per KwH (matches PodPoint in Tesco in Callington). Only minor things are: • Tools to poke the fire (I used the BBQ tongues) • Microwave (most meals seem to require this) • Percolator (Tassimo unit is fine, but prefer ground Cornish coffee) • Oven gloves • Better sign, reflective, on the entrance wall • Ring or the likes doorbell you push, instead of scrabbling through emails to find a number

Excellent place to stay really relaxing and such a lovely place to stay Jonathan was really good too seeing if we needed more wood for the fire and all the things like cream tea on arrival!
