Ocean View Beach Haven! Steps2Beach & Pet Friendly

The location, the set up of the house. fair price and plenty of room. 2 blocks to the beach and 4 blocks from lots of restaurants and shops.

it was a bit chilly and the heaters are not great or non existent. you only have space heaters downstairs for a big room and a couch in front of the living room heater. None of that makes a big difference it was great. We loved it. would stay again, but with slippers and extra warm lounge clothes.

Great access to the beach. The bike, wagon and beach supplies made a beach afternoon super easy and enjoyable. Plenty of dishware and towels. My wife loved the steam shower so much, it is now on the list for when we do a bathroom remodel at home.

The odd texts sent to me from the management company to sign a separate contract outside of booking.com and provide personal info like a drivers license picture made me uncomfortable, particularly with booking.com's warning against such communication. When I refused, they opted to meet me at the property for check-in but I had to call for assistance 10 minutes past check-in time when no representative was there. The rep was super friendly and apologetic upon arrival and even came back later to help out with the grill. I've used booking.com in Colorado, Florida and New York without this additional contract and unsure why those terms couldn't just be in the originating booking information. Maybe it's a California thing as this was first time renting through this app for this state.

The location was great, as was the house itself. Very well appointed. And the managers were great to work with.

As with most places in this area near the beach you hear trash trucks early each morning.

Location/ privacy was superb .
