We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. Most concerning: the patio doors in both the living room and master bedroom did not lock. This is a major safety issue that left us uneasy throughout our stay. At that point, we were already frustrated due to delayed communication regarding our request for bedding, so we didn’t bother reaching out again. The house was clean but felt completely sterile—zero charm or warmth. Only two of the four bedrooms were made up, and we had to move a blanket and pillow ourselves. For a house that sleeps more guests, we were surprised to find only one towel per person and three flat pillows total. Every piece of furniture appeared to be the most basic from IKEA, and the shower leaked water all over the floor. We have no extra towels to mop it up. My bedroom was especially bleak—just a bed with a cheap, pilled fitted sheet. No nightstand, no decor, no comfort. It honestly felt more like a dorm room or a cell than a space meant for travelers. To make matters worse, the owner contacted us asking if a plumber could access the house—but gave us no warning or exact time. We were away in another town and had no chance to prepare or secure our belongings. The only positives were that the house was clean and the nearby waterfall was beautiful. But the overall experience left us uncomfortable and disappointed. We were relieved to move on to our next Airbnb in Bergen, which was thoughtfully decorated and far more welcoming. I cannot recommend this property, especially not for families or travelers expecting a safe, comfortable stay.

Just to let owners know, when the oven, kettle and, we then realised, underfloor heating on at same time this trips the fuse. Easily corrected by using consumer unit and turning off kitchen underfloor heating.

The place was very easy to reach and find, with an incredible view from just outside the house. Although it's a bit of a walking distance to the train stations, the view was so spectacular that it felt like a treat. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive. They were very quick to answer any questions we had. The house itself is in perfect condition, with all the faclities working perfectly, very comfortable and spacious, free of clutter, plenty storage spaces. I would highly recommend this place to any travelers who are in the area, especially if you have a larger group.
