Very central in ortiga

The room was ok.

We arrived to a very rude reception. We then were more or less dragged through the streets to the location up 3 flights of stairs. The building was quite run down on the way up with big metal doors. The view was described as being over looking the town. It was overlooking a back yard full of rubbish and old clothes. A dog was constantly howling. There was no toilet roll either. There was lots of noise coming from above or the sides even though the building was said to be sound proof. We left the accommodation that evening and messaged them telling them so. We got a taxi costing 40 euros back to our complex where we were staying. . We had come for the night for drinks and 1 night in Syracuse.

Überraschend modern eingerichtetes Zimmer in altem, fast schon historischem Gebäude, direkt im Zentrum. Italienisches Frühstück nebenan im belebten Café auf der Terasse, neben der Hauptpassage.

Hatte im Zimmer nur ein schmales bodentiefes Fenster.

Clean, easy to find/get inside. Nice bathroom.

Despite modern double-glazed windows it was still pretty noisy from the street. Consider earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The furnishing/equipment in the room is minimal, no fridge.
