Perfect location, lovely place

The building work next door!

It was a good size for us.

Shower water leaked out on the floor. Parking is a problem. On site mgr literally yelled at us for driving the car up to the gate to drop off suitcases. We could not drag them from the top of the street and had inquired about help before we arrived. We DID NOT know it was not allowed to drive to the gate! The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Steps to loft area were hard to manage. Cooktop would not light. We had to ask for a lighter. Cute place, but would not return.

The host was very nice and friendly, explained everything very well. The apartment facilities are excellent, everything you could wish for. Beds are comfy, there are all the amenities. Nice bakery, a few good restaurants and a groceries shop close to the apartment. Overall, a nice and calm neighborhood. Two rather big free parking spaces very close to the apartment. The parking spaces cannot be reserved. However, we visited in the end of July (during the peak of touristic season), and there were always quite a few places in the parking. Beautiful yard.

The location of the apartment is far from the actual Bellagio (around 3km). We did know that before the trip, however, we did not expect that the path to Bellagio is so difficult. In many cases, there is only a road for the cars, and there are no pavements for pedestrians. And we were travelling with a 3-year-old and her stroller. It's good that we are fit people and generally like to work out. Imagine us going every day to Bellagio and back 3 kilometers with a stroller and via a very mountainous path (where in some cases you will need to carry the child, because there are too many stones for the stroller and it's too steep). Collection of keys was a bit confusing. The communication about how we get the keys was very slow and confusing. We were in touch with the host or some managers via Booking.com, but they were very vague about the keys until the very end, and during the last days before our trip we learned that we needed to register in their online system (which we have not been informed about in advance). In the end, we got into the situation that we have arrived to the door of the apartment without knowing how we get the keys, and we simply called the host. Luckily, she was around and got us in very quickly. Which means that the unfortunate communication did not cause us any trouble, while it did cause us a bit of stress. Apparently, the host or whoever is managing the property on their behalf (Easy Welcome? - not so easy, I suppose) was trying to reach me via WhatsApp, which I am not using too much, so I have noticed it only after our trip. :)
