Lyla's at Botany Bay

Perfect destination for four couples and two children. We had perfect weather over May Bank Holiday and the kids spent hours in the pool and hot tub. The property is only a few hundred yards from the beach and it’s an easy walk down there … getting back up the sandy path was a different matter … but there was beers in the fridge and more pool time to look forward to! 😊

What’s not to like?! … Could do with a couple of sun umbrellas but we managed fine. Thank you for having us! 😊

Location was superb. The host, Lauren, was so professional, responding quickly and efficiently to us, both before we arrived and during our stay. She is an ideal host.We liked the house décor and layout of the living area, perfect for a family group. The kitchen was well stocked, dishwasher, washine machine and dryer made life easy.The bedrooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms were done to a high standard. The garden was perfect for small children to run and the play equipment was really enjoyed. The proximity to a great beach was fantastic, sand plus rockpools was wonderful.

We were happy with all aspects of our stay and would not hesitate to recommend Layla's and host Lauren.

The house is is lovely, all the bedrooms are very spacious with modern ensuites. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus, as we had fab weather during our three night stay.

The house didn't have a kettle, but had an instant hot tap instead. This tap was fairly awkward to use, with the risk of burning your hand. The check in time being late at 3pm. We would have preferred to have more time in the house for the price we paid.

Lauren was a great host - enough information prior to us arriving and available for any questions we had during our stay. Place was spotless and we had the best time. Great location being a couple of mins from the beach. Loved it so much we've booked up to return.

The downstairs areas are a little too cold for the winter. Could do with more heating downstairs.

An absolutely stunning property, finished to a high standard and with everything needed for a group get away. We loved being able to cook and sit together. Bedrooms very comfortable and en-suites had great showers. We loved the hot tub and are already planning a trip back in the summer months to be able to use the swimming pool too! Lots of outdoor space, we were lucky with the weather and sat outside during the day in November! Great location, sea/beach is just at the end of the road and access to the Viking trail coast path for leisurely walks. Easy drive into Margate.

The house is lovely, facilities and location are great. 3 friends and our children went for a short break and I’ve already booked to return in the summer with my family!
