The Yellow Door 3-bedroom downtown near VT&RU

we needed a trip for one night coming up I-81 from the south to north. it was very conveniently located off I-81. the 2 queen beds were comfortable. cannot speak for the 3rd bedroom with a twin bed as we were a couple and a single friend and only used the two rooms. the unit was very, very clean which was a BIG PLUS. the window a/c units worked very well. the kitchen looked well stocked with utensils etc, so if you needed to cook a meal, I think it would be fine ( we didn’t use it except for the keurig for coffee- pods were provided but no creamers and we used the cute retro microwave to warm up a leftover). for a family this would work great or for people not adverse to sharing the one bathroom. I would recommend

the windows only had plastic blinds- no curtains. it was very bright in the morning. also I don’t remember if there was a mention that this is on the 2nd floor of a cute older home, so there were steps. we are seniors, but had no problems with steps. but this could be a real problem for someone with mobility issues.
