"Lovely but busy road and front drive"

7.0

The house was cosy. Very clean. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. It really is a lovely property. Lovely field to walk the dogs right outside the house.

The road outside is a fast drivers heaven. The cars fly by. The bigger house, attached, their guests park right outside the front of this smaller end house, then walk back and forth to empty their cars, get in the car, come back in the cars etc. Very annoying especially when they arrive back late at night and try to park, then get up at 5.50 am to sort their cars out. The stairs, it says they are steep, they really are. A downstairs loo would add a huge amount to the stay.

The house gives a unique atmosphere, the hosts took care of everything that is necessary right after arrival milk, coffee, tea cookies. A beautiful large area with a meadow behind the house gives privacy and relaxation surrounded by greenery and birdsong. Nearby about 15/20 miles a lot of attractive areas.

Cottage was very dark. The stairs were very steep , we were warned but they were like a ladder and we had to come down backwards

"Very pleasant"

We loved the location of the property, beautiful field views and only a 10 minute drive to New Quay! Norma was lovely and she left us necessities on arrival such as a small milk, washing up liquid etc.

The sofa was a little uncomfortable and there were quite a few cobwebs on arrival.
