Alpacas Off Grid - House Truck

The House Truck itself is wonderfully quirky with lots of interessting details and features - especially the outdoor hottub. We spend an entire evening stargazing in it. Nat and Grant are great hosts. The breakfast was fabulous and we got lots of helpful information. In combination with the location in what felt like the middle of nowhere, it truly was like a whole nother world.

Fantastic place, very nice people, loved the alpacas and the interaction we got to do. I learned what “wrangling” means haha

Be aware of the sand flies as their bites are nasty. Small remark: The bed/mattress has seen its best time.

The house truck is incredibly homely and well thought out. After a nice hot soak in the tub, we opened the windows in the reading nook so we could take in the night sky and mellowed out to Johnny Cash CDs. In the morning, we got to feed the alpacas and Nat made some awesome pancakes for our trip back. All in all it was a really relaxing stay and would definitely go back.

Tranquil and peaceful spot with beautiful scenery. Had chance to admire the night sky and stars while in the wood fired hot-tub. Meandering along the forest up the creek offered us some time to immerse in nature. Awesome and inspiring setup and of course a great surprise to have alpacas in the same paddock as our accommodation with chance to interact and feed them. The cabin felt homely....Listening to old Johnny Cash classics while sipping on wine and playing chess with the fire warming us up! Couldn't ask for anything better than that! The host is absolutely lovely, helpful and even made us tasty brekkie!

Beautiful tranquil location staying in a character filled cosy private house truck next to nature. Nat was friendly, helpful, a wealth of knowledge and made my stay very comfortable. Next time i will stay longer to enjoy the outdoor hot tub. !
