KK Homestay City Deluxe room - Ming Garden Hotel & Residence

We had booked different hotel nut changed to this because the hotel had information the pool is open until 00.00 every day. When we arrived (after 20:00) there was information the pool is open only until 20:00. We also got information pool is open until 19:00 only.

Pool was not open.

The self check in instructions were straight forward.

1. There’s a strong scent of mothball when stepping in the room. 2. I was up late at night and there were small cockroaches crawling on the mattress. 3. There were little bugs flying in the shower 4. Probably because of New Years, you can hear the lion dance outside of the streets super clearly in the morning. It was very loud.

- Comfortable pillows and beds. - Strong water pressure, good water heater. - Wide space in the room. - The wi-fi was okay

- Expensive underground parking, narrow space parking. - There was no instruction given by the owner about there was a major difference in the route to the hotel rooms and the residences as we only knew that we took the wrong lift and went to the wrong lobby after there was no sign of our room number in the 7th floor. 😅 - There were only 2 lifts available and there was a long queue to take the residence’s lifts in peak hours. - The air-con was not so cold. - We could smell some poop when someone’s pooping next door. 😂
