location was near to Cadair Idris which is what we wanted. Fairly cheap and private.

The access up the very steep 1 mile path via car was extremely difficult. The property was hard to locate on arrival with no sign posts and then it was freezing once we arrived and the heating did not work. Eventually got through to owners who realised it wasn’t turned on centrally. Took ages to heat. The fireplace that was advertised as part of the booking had no firewood and owners did it supply any saying we had to get some from a petrol station which meant driving down that treacherous path again so we didn’t use it. A pair of pants were found in the washing machine on arrival!
