Hermoso Piso en La Cala de Mijas con vistas al mar

The property is nice. I stayed there last year but when I booked this apartment it did not state that it was on Torrenueva Park and if it had I would not have booked it because of the location and the hill to walk was too much for us.

We did not like the location. We also did not like that there are no Sunbed’s around the pool which meant you were lying on towels often on wet grass. Unfortunately the whole complex had an ant problem.

The apartment was clean and modern and we were able to check in earlier A few more instructions on how to find the apartment would be helpful even a video walk link as we had to ask someone in the end Duvets on the beds would have been nice but not essential

The neighbours were noisy nothing evenings and with a family there were too many steps and too far from the centre of La cala for our liking it’s my own fault I should have checked the exact location

Relaxing and quiet apartment close to sea with great views from the terrace. Stayed for two nights, everything was as said in booking.com. Apartment is well equipped, easy parking, close to shops and restaurants (walking distance). With car you can easily reach many hiking trails, golf courses etc. so lots of activities in surrounding area. Good bed, slept super good. View from terrace is simply great! Check-in, check-out very smooth and efficient. Appreciated. Host replies fast if you have a question/need!

Minor thing as such but lighting in apartment was not really to our taste (too bright), not too big negative however :). Apartment is clean and well maintained. Starts to be a bit worn-out soon perhaps?

There was only one Portable heater for the whole apartment which was not enough to heat the whole apartment at night when it was chilly

Lovely apartment, kitchen is well equipped, great modern look and lay out and the smart TV very much appreciated, nice balcony and great views. Lovely spacious. modern bathroom too. The only negative for us was the lack of air conditioning, this affected our comfort and seriously disrupted our sleep at nights. There were ceiling fans, although we found them to be ineffective in temps of 32C. I imagine it would be more comfortable out of season and this was the only negative for us. To be fair, we hadn't appreciated there was no air conditioning either, which was down to us when we booked it.

Lack of air conditioning, we would not re book solely for this reason if travelling in high season again. Our sleep was seriously disrupted at night.

A pleasant well equipped apartment, probably better suited for a couple. Sea views from the balcony and very close to the pool. Quiet complex, the pool was never overcrowded and we visited end of August. Probably not best suited to anyone with mobility impairment as a few steps around the complex and on a hill.

The lack of aircon really dampened the experience, during the hot summer months I don’t understand how people can stay in the apartment comfortably. Every other apartment has aircon, I’m not sure why you would think it’s not necessary. We had terrible broken sleep every night due to the heat and the ceiling fans were useless. In the small bedroom it was spinning the opposite way and giving no breeze, until we fixed it and then LOTS of thick dust started to fall from it as it had obviously had not been cleaned for a very long time. We requested an extra fan from the host to which they said were unable to provide. Also beware check in is from 4pm and there is no where to leave luggage if you arrive early. The host was responsive but seemed annoyed that I had requested to check in early as I was with my elderly dad. Single beds are very small, would best suit children.

Fans and shutters were no match for the 37 degree heat (air con wasn't advertised so wouldn't mark the apartment down for this) but it does take a little time to acclimatise without the benefits of being able to cool down
